The Aims of Ecolots
Ecolots is a free service designed to assist with the environmentally sensitive, sustainable and economic management of land, trees and wildlife.
How Ecolots Operates
- Advertisements are submitted by members of the public, businesses and organisations via the website using the on-line advert submission pro-forma.
- This is an on-going process with no particular deadline for advert submission.
- Every day (excluding weekends and bank holidays) the Ecolots service operator will check and sub-edit all newly submitted adverts and publish all suitable adverts on the website.
- All adverts will run for 3 months before being deleted except dated events which will expire immediately after the date of the event.
The Ecolots Service Operator
- Beacon Forestry operate the Ecolots service under contract to the funding partners and under the guidance of the Steering Group.
- Beacon Forestry are a small private firm who specialise in Internet timber marketing including the design, installation and management of real-time auctions and web based information and marketing resources.
