Welcome to the latest Newsletter of the Eco-Lots service. As you may know Eco-Lots has evolved from two previous initiatives called WoodLots and Eco-Ads, both of which published a small advertising magazine every two months.

Eco-Lots now has an associated website! - it is called www.contak.org and it provides a machinery ring service for land managers and operators involved in nature conservation work. So, if you are looking for that special bit of kit, or if you have surplus resources which could be hired out and put to good use by someone else, please take a look at the site and get involved – help others, help yourself & help wildlife!

We at Beacon Forestry, who operate the Eco-Lots service, are very glad to be involved in the development of Eco-Lots, and, together with the FACT based Steering Group, will endeavour to provide a first rate service.
